Puppeteer-artist–drag persona TABBOO! makes over Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio as a transvestite with a Britney Spears fetish by assembling an East Village rogues’ gallery (Deee-lite’s Lady Miss Kier, John Kelly and Flotilla DeBarge) to tempt the little wooden cross-dresser.

Howl! Festival of East Village Arts

The annual Howl! Festival named in honor of the groundbreaking poem by Allen Ginsberg and produced every summer celebrates the East Village and Lower East Side's role as a preeminent locus of culture.
