One to the [O]ther 16mm short film Running time: 6 min.
"One to the [O]ther" was
inspired by Helen Keller's collection of essays Out of the Dark. Shooting
took place in April 2005 at The Cup (formerly "The Muddy Cup", a coffee shop
and performance/art venue located in Staten Island) as a short non-sync film and edited during that summer. The film is a
visual-theory narrative, starring Devin Cutugno and Trina Rose in character versions of themselves (pictured above).
In May 2007, One to the [O]ther won The Achievement
in Direction Award at The 28th Annual New School Invitational Film Show.

A Yellow Brick Road
16mm sync-sound short film
Running time: 12 min.
"A Yellow Brick Road" explores
the "body" as a site of fixed identity. This 16mm sync-sound production was filmed in April 2007 at CenterStage, NY in Chelsea NYC and cast includes Trina Rose, Epiphany, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Little Randy,
and Laura Thies. Yellow Brick saw its World Premiere at Unisex Salon at The Delancey Lounge in NYC in June 2007 and recently screened
at Gender or Else, a HyperGender Burlesque production at the WOW Cafe Theatre in August as well as the HOT! Festival on August 24th
at Dixon Place in NYC. Other screenings are listed below.
